this is an A2 sized poster painting of a bear! <3 one of my favourite bear drawings! the fur on the bear’s arms and legs and tummy are quite real right! (:

this is a transformation of a rose into a design. i drew the first blue rose with reference of from a real rose i bought for $1.50 (cheat money ><) then i put the drawing on the light box and drew it out using a monochrome of black. next, i extracted all the darkest portions of the drawing and abstracted the rose into a design

this is a A4 sized drawing in color pencil. kinda like the final mock up for my final design #1. to be scanned into the computer and cleared up (:

this is quite a small drawing done in my sketch book as research for coursework. it’s supposed to represent chairs in the baroque style. if you look closely, the legs of the chair are infused into one of my final designs – (refer to 2D designs (3) -

i feel that this work is quite representational of the style as it consists of the sinuous lines which is usually associated with the baroque style furnitures. furthermore, the coloring and the arms of the chair gives off the feeling of royalty – the plushness that is too the essence of baroque.

second attempt at water color! is there an improvement! i think it looks more complete albeit obvious signs that some of the objects in the painting are not properly done. such as the jug at the extreme right hand side of the painting. budden! i like the other two structures — the pillar like containers. i feel that water color some how brought out the solidness of the two “pillars” (:

but after doing a few other pieces of water color paintings, i realised that it requires a lot of patience and time. and water color just simply gives off an unfinished feel. i like playing with water color, but i dont think i like the effect that much.

this is a A2 sized water color painting. it was quite a first attempt on water color. so it looks pretty unfinished. but that’s what i feel with all the other water color paintings that i’ve done. but the part that i like the most is the cloth in the background at the right hand side of the painting. i feel that the shadows and tints of colors from the flowers are well rendered. (:

this is an A3 sketch in pencil of basically a pair of boots.

(: i dont like the one on the left! the top part is kinda screwed. but i like the one on the left (: cos it gives the leathery leathery feel. especially the crease in the middle of the boots and on the part of the shoes which encloses your toes….

this is a A4 sized coloring piece that i did in like 2+ hours. it was one of the 5 works that i had to submit for aep last year. a lot of people said the beak was nice, but i personally like the claw more. hahahah dunno why. maybe cos it has the “real”feeling – esp the nails on the claws (: like really sharp (((:

no comments, i just think the horses look really good and the lighting just suitable to show off their “curves”… haha (: i think the artist is very pro in carving the fine details for the muscles and the LINES of the horse. it’s exactly like they are in motion (:so pro

i love this picture lah! trafalgar square! nice right nice right! i take oneee <3 hahaha i think i was super lucky with the lighting — the timing of the shot. although the contrast is quite big in this photo but i think it looks nice dont you! (: hahahha

i just kinda think this one looks fake, that’s why i put it up. like yknow those kinda fake paintings of a street that looks really real and makes you wanna walk right into it.. yah butthen that picture i took was of a real street. (: maybe it’s cos of the clouds. they are kinda like too perfect to be real – the colors are so extremely solid and it’s like distinct blocks of colors placed besides each other. (((:
